Initiating security scans within DigitSec can be done in several ways:
You will first need to create a DigitSec Workspace to collect the scan results. DigitSec Workspaces can be connected to a Salesforce Org, a Commerce Cloud Site, or can be "Scratch" versions of either type. From the Dashboard Screen, you the Blue Button to create a new Workspace.
1. DigitSec Web
Once you have logged onto the site, click into the Workspace of your choice. On the Workspace Dashboard, you will see two buttons below the Findings Trend visualization. They are indicated by the Yellow Arrow in the bottom-right corner of the screen capture below.
The New Scan button appears for Workspaces that are connected to a Salesforce Instance or Commerce Cloud Site. A modal box will confirm your intention to run a scan.
The Upload files button appears in both Workspsaces that are connected to a Salesforce Instance or Commerce Cloud Site; or for Scratch Workspaces. A modal dialog sequence will ask you to browse to the file or zip archive of your project to begin the upload.
Note: You can modify the Scan Settings that will run for this Workspace. The diagonal arrow at the top-middle of the screen capture above indicates the sub-tab navigation to choose to access scan settings. Please refer to Managing Scan Configurations to learn more about fine-tuning your scans.
