You can utilize Okta's Single Sign On capabilities by connecting DigitSec as an authorized application. This document guides you through the steps needed to link the two systems.
Please begin by opening a browser window to https://okta.com and sign-in with an admin account.
Next, please click on the profile dropdown in the top right corner, and in the dropdown choose "Admin".
Next, click on the menu button in the top left corner of the admin settings. Please select "Applications > Applications".
On the next screen, please click the blue button labeled "Browse App catalog". On this page, please search for the "DigitSec" application. Once it is presented as an option, please click on it and then click on "add".
Please enter any necessary additional information on the next page. Please click the "next" link and "Save" buttons when you have finished.
Once this has been completed, you should have a working integration that allows you to add this application to the dashboard of other users in your organization and allow them to sign into DigitSec using the Okta Dashboard.
Next, to sign in using your Okta Credentials on the DigitSec site, please return to the Applications > Applications page on the Okta website.
Please find the Digitsec application and click on it. On the resulting page, please click on the "Sign On" tab.
Within the "Sign On" tab, scroll down to the middle and find the link that is labeled "view setup instructions". Please copy these links and open a new browser tab/window to https://s4.digitsec.com
Login to DigitSec. You will need an account with admin-level privileges, Click on Configure in the top-bar main navigation. Next, click on the "Integrations" tab and in the bottom-right, find the button labeled "Configure" on the "Set Up Single Sign-On" line.
Please click the Configure button, this will launch a modal dialog. Please paste the information retrieved from Okta on the View Setup Instructions page. Click Verify and Save.
After this has been completed, please click the clipboard button below SAML Secret to copy this value to your clipboard. We will need to head back to our Okta application with this value.
On the screen shown above, please click on the edit Button in the SAML Settings Section. This will navigate you to Application Settings. Find the SAML Settings section. In this section, please add an Attribute Statement named "Recipient" (case sensitive), the value of this Attribute will be the SAML Secret copied earlier. Please note that the URL you should use should be https://s4.digitsec.com/auth/saml.
Please test by signing into DigitSec again. The system should redirect to your Okta page to complete authentication. If you are already actively signed-in to Okta, the page will redirect several times to land on DigitSec Workspaces screen.
